Stanley Cup Final Schedule Announced
Panthers and Oilers to Battle for Championship
The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the schedule for the 2024 Stanley Cup Final, which will see the Florida Panthers face off against the Edmonton Oilers. The best-of-seven series will begin on Wednesday, May 29, in Edmonton.
Game 2 will take place on Friday, May 31, also in Edmonton. The series will then shift to Sunrise, Florida, for Games 3 and 4 on Monday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 5, respectively.
If necessary, Game 5 will be played in Edmonton on Saturday, June 8. Game 6 would be back in Sunrise on Monday, June 10, with a potential Game 7 taking place in Edmonton on Wednesday, June 12.
The Panthers are making their second consecutive Stanley Cup Final appearance after losing to the Colorado Avalanche in six games last year. The Oilers, meanwhile, are back in the Final for the first time since 2006, when they were defeated by the Carolina Hurricanes.
