Myles Turner Injury Update: Pacers Center to Miss Next Two Weeks
Turner to Receive Treatment and Be Re-evaluated
Pacers Shut Down Turner for Rest of Season
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Myles Turner has not played in a game this season, and the Indiana Pacers have announced that he will be shut down for the rest of the season.
Turner will receive treatment and be re-evaluated in two weeks, the Pacers said.
The Pacers pummeled the Brooklyn Nets Monday night 133-111, but Turner's absence was a key factor in the game.
Turner is a 6-foot-11 center who has been a key player for the Pacers in recent seasons. He averaged 12.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game last season.
The Pacers are currently 10-10 this season. They are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings.
